FF 8+ Tip: Using VFP 9 with Foxfire!
Burt Rosen, one of our beta testers, reported a bug for VFP 9 compatibility. if you are using VFP 9 tables, be sure to use the FFSTART9 Executable instead of the FFSTART8.EXE.
In his case, he had a VFP 9 table with binary indices. When the Setup Wizard attempted to load them in, he got an error (File is not open). "That's bizarre" - I thought - as it turned out, it's because VFP 8 cannot understand and open a binary index. Running it with the FFSTART9 resolved the problem.

Foxfire! Build 405
Foxfire! 8+ Build 405 is available in both full install (if you've never installed it before) or update.
This build has a LOT of fixes in it - everything from some changes to the Ask at runtime dialogs to better handling of portrait and landscape reports and more.
We're finding a few little things here and there but haven't seen any major show stoppers yet.

Foxfire! 8+ Build 403 is available in both full install (if you've never installed it before) or update.
If you tried to run earlier versions today, you would know - the beta period has expired. This one will run up until release.
These updates include a number of internal fixes for future functionality, including the new Web version.
